We are LPAlliance:

An inter-caucus coalition rebuilding and revolutionizing the Libertarian Party.

Join us and bring your voice to the movement to make the Party a formidable, principled force for radical, far-reaching change nationally and globally.

United States citizens are being deported without cause. Legal residents with no criminal history are being imprisoned absent charge, stocked in brutal human warehouses at taxpayers’ expense. Tariffs, together with the imposition of a soft command economy, are stymying innovation and crippling worker empowerment.

We, our nation, and our world are not at a crossroads. We are on a trajectory barreling toward protectionist populism, regressive regulation, and greater government glut—and we are united in our fight to arrest it.

After decades of under-performance, disorganization, and factional insularity, the Libertarian Party—the only U.S. party willing and able to fight for the self-determination and free will of the individual—faces three choices: collapse, acquiesce to major party will, or rebuild and rebel. Whatever we choose for our Party, we choose for our country and our world. We must act, not only as Libertarians, but as human beings who believe in the power of the individual self-owner to declare his own destiny.

LPAlliance is the nexus of that action. Together, we are rebuilding the Libertarian Party under a “liberty first” strategy that puts libertarian leadership, activism, and principles above all else—inside and outside the Party. Our first task is to strengthen and revitalize the Party internally in order to realize the libertarian vision for radical political change. Our second task is to make that change happen.

We want you to create it with us.

The LP Alliance Triple Torch

Who We Are

We are allies in liberty: Radicals, Libertarian Socialists, Anarchists of all stripes, Green Libertarians, Classical Liberals, Ron Paul Libertarians, Misesians, and caucus-neutral libertarians working to revive our Party and initiate a new era for our movement. Our members represent all 50 states and National regions, and our backgrounds range from those just getting started to those with a lifetime of advocacy experience.

How do we manage that range of opinions? Join us and find out.

Collective action only works when the collective cause becomes a proving-ground for individual uniqueness: Activists must have the liberty and the opportunity to express their individuality through the work they do toward a shared victory. Whatever talents you have, we want to you to use and develop them here.

Whether you have expertise to share on Party organization and bylaw reforms, are running for or working to empower your state affiliate, are ready to partner on movement activism and minor party coalition-building, or want to volunteer your ideas and skills in writing, strategizing, or any other pursuit, join the LPAlliance discord, get vetted, and let’s get moving.

Yellow states are those that have held conventions and elected LPAlliance-backed boards since our formation in November 2024. Red states are those that have held conventions and elected boards hostile to our objectives, mainly via their endorsement of minor-major party fusionism, favor of mono-caucus rule, or diminution of Libertarian ballot-access initiatives. Orange states have mixed leadership.

About Us

We are recruiting and endorsing a multi-caucus and caucus-neutral slate of LNC candidates who share our vision for a powerful, principled LNC. We are also drafting proposed bylaws that will enforce transparency among leadership, protect our Party from corruption, empower members, and strengthen the force of our advocacy. Finally, we are working on ways to increase communication between leadership and members and improve our educational efforts inside and outside the Party.

From phone banking to candidate consulting to fundraising to coordinating rides and lodging, we do everything in our power to make sure that the right people are at the right conventions to run for and support Ally-backed slates.

Convention delegates need to know whom they are voting for and why. LPMerit, a true neutral platform for candidate selection, is a “ballotpedia”-style web page designed to help members and delegates choose the candidates who are most deserving of, and best suited to, every LNC and JC role. The site’s “endorsement” and “opposition” message boxes allow users to defend their selections and recruit support for their slate.

Featuring leaders within and beyond the liberty movement, “LPA Live” acquaints audiences with the plurality of libertarian perspectives on a given topic. Our weekly newscast, “The Business List,” provides fresh reporting on stories inside the Party, across the country, and around the world. Our direct-action arm is also organizing issue coalitions outside the Libertarian Party, coordinating with other minor parties and advocates to agitate on the ground for libertarian causes.

The Torch is a free online journal igniting broad-range discussions in libertarian theory and Party strategy, and a home for original reporting on Party news and events. Open to all contributors and edited by a team representing varied schools of libertarian thought, The Torch is designed to be a beacon for vigorous yet constructive debate on the future of libertarianism and the Libertarian Party in an era defined by civic apathy, political demagoguery, and bureaucratic glut.

We are dedicated to forging robust coalitions within the Libertarian Party to amplify its core principles of individual liberty and limited government. By uniting diverse factions under a shared vision, we aim to strengthen the party’s influence and electoral success. Beyond the party, we seek to build alliances with like-minded organizations and individuals to expand the reach of libertarian ideas. Our goal is to create a powerful network that drives policy change and promotes freedom across America.
